It's 15 degrees here on the Mornington peninsula!

Temperature has dropped a couple of degrees - only 48.4 here. Nearly past the worst, I suspect - humidity is up to 17% from 10%, and peak gusts down to a bit over 50km/h.

The fire near Leaadville is now over 8,000ha, and I have reports it has jumped the highway. I suspect the highway is closed, but the RTA traffic website is out.
