I have a 2014MY Freelander 2 and the key fob has a hard plastic side and a rubber covered side where the buttons are. The rubber skin is separating from the case and exposing the buttons to dust and whatever else is in my pocket. Can this be fixed? I'm not sue if the fob opens, but even so, it seems rather brutal to be using a hot glue gun, or superglue to secure the rubber skin. There is no sign of it ever having been 'glued' in the past. I might add that both fobs are the same.

Any ideas or suggestions?
