02 Defender electric window motor/regulator.

Hi all,
Found out yesterday my front passenger side window has ceased working. And of course its fuse is okay.
So I am wondering if I can get by with buying an aftermarket motor/regulator assembly, or do I go top dollar for an original?
Anyone out there have experience with these?

Hey,
Not sure if they'd be similar but I've done one in a D2 with aftermarket reg and motor. The reg was the same but motor had a different plug so need to cut the original off and use generic connectors.
Was on a Sunday so couldn't get a factory plug to suit[emoji35] so if going aftermarket try get an original plug to suit the new motor beforehand!
No problems so far with quality.
