I said its not a fair comparison, but its all Ive got.
Anytime someone wants to do a Video comparison of a my basically Stock Daily 4x4 (only mods are to braking system) vs a Fully Locked & Modified anything I'd be in that.

That would be a fun exercise and my Defender would fit the bill. Unfortunately, I’m a bit far away from you.

Is this a 'new' (for you) Iveco Daily GB ? and have you sold off the 'old' one ?
What wheel and tyre combo does this one have and have you 'grenade proofed' the TC ?
Sorry for the '1000' questions but just interested.
It would be an interesting comparison to put the Daily up against our Oka. The Daily would have a distinct weight advantage, IMO would lose out with parabolic springs (which I reckon are crap), the Oka's long leaves and dual gas shocks on each corner are a winning combo, the Daily would win with diffs (Dana/Spicer LSD's front and rear in the Oka). The Oka would cream the daily with its 325/85 R16 XML's and it's Cummins 6BT Perkins replacement should be more than a match for the 'neck rung' 2.5 litre? Iveco offering. It would all depend on the 'course' and the duration.
I reckon the Daily is a real good thing mechanically but horribly overpriced with lousy factory backup and horrendously priced parts, a bit like a new Range Rover/Discovery really [wink11]
How's life in the 'sunny' climes ?, a hell of a lot warmer than the old place. :)

No Deano, That ex mines one is not mine, a bloke from WA sent me the video via FB hence the crappy quality. Its got EVA Alloy Rims & Hankook RT03 37x12.5R17 tyres.
The Parabolics are the best thing since sliced bread, The suspension setup is one part of the truck Im incline to leave as it. No complaints at all there , except I did remove the front sway bar, improved on & off road. Stopped that side to side sway over bumps.
They have a 3.0 L twin turbo & go like stink , (once the EGR & DPF removed) Just lope along at 130kmh no probs if thats your thing.
Finally managed to get my brakes working. Changed it from Front rear split to diagonal split in there ABS & put F250 discs on the rear. Really enjoying it now.
It now stops better than my Landy

and on gravel with & without ABS

and I've still got a HydroBoost to put on yet, Its going to be good :)
