i can tell you it is called a set of spanners and the by the look of the bumper and lights it is exarmy. Which have the older removeable door tops. But not oo much of a problem as series doors will fit and they have removeable door tops.
Get a set of spanners and you can have the roof of a defender in about half an hour

Problem is not how it was done but how he gets past VicRoads.

And the B pillar would flex as it is attached at the bottom and then the roof.....

Thats why i wanted to see how he did it.

I have just imported a soft top and was worried about it but no one of the loads of people who came to look at it for road worthy even mention the soft top on the car or the roll bar or anything. Was worried for a bit about it. But in the end did not need to worry

i was just enquiring how much import tax you paid on your 90
as we have got ours coming at the end of jan and unless you got yours on private plates theres only a couple of years difference between them ours being older.....

and we are just trying to get some idea of how much money we are going to need

Well they came back with a price of $7400 value for the 90 (it had british age related plates still on it). I think this was because they vauled it as a seris 3 or something. But this mean't i had to pay 10% import duty and 10% GST on the amount. So i had to pay custom $1480. Which in our minds was very good as we had been told before it left, that it was going to cost us $7000
