My wife has suggested I buy GreyLandy's 110 hardtop! 8O

I wonder if it would be worth swapping the engine, transmission and rear axle (if it has disc brakes) into the County? Perhaps the air conditioning as well.

I like the utility of the station wagon body - but I'd like a 5-speed box, diese, and air con and I can't afford a late model 110 SW.

Oh, what to do, what to do?

I shall have to wait until GreyLandy returnd from holidays then go and have a look at his 110.

Its not a bad idea Ron, but greylandy's egine has over 300000km on the clock, now nothing against Henry or anything, as a vehicle it is good value, but i dont see the point in spending all that time doing the conversion when the engine mightnt have that much life left in it. Why do the egine conversion and not keep the defender and sell the county? Matt
