Has anyone got a recommendation as to where to buy and have installed Fyrlyt 9000 onto my 2016 D4 in Perth? Their website lists a few places but obviously need someone who understands the electrics on our vehicles.

Stu, talk to Tim at Auto Spark in Osborne Park, they've just fitted a whole bunch of stuff to my 2016 SE, they're very knowledgable and specialize in Discoveries. They do hundreds of them, Barbagallo sends all their after-market work to Tim.

You can see pics of the work they did for me in this thread: Electrical artwork for new D4 (https://www.aulro.com/afvb/l319-discovery-3-and-4-a/246847-electrical-artwork-new-d4.html)

The electrics for Driving lights are like every other -Gnd vehicle...

Sense from High Beam behind headlight to switch trigger and then the usual relay...

No need to be concerned, just find a quality installer...

I bought mine online and installed them myself with the kit from Traxide and a switch from Expedition Centre. If you want them installed for you I second Autospark. I've used the guys in Canning Vale and I was happy with their work.

If you haven't got a bar,the mob Greg mention make a fitting kit suitable for the Fyrlites.
Look on Ebay, you can get cheap locking nuts, very good insurance.

I parked next to this white D4 today, the Lightforce monsters look like they were installed using custom stainless steel brackets like the ones supplied by Auto Spark in Osborne Park.

I got mine from him too although he was in Goulburn then.

I had the local 4wd place who installed my bull bar do the job. I also contacted the guy who makes them for advice and he was very helpful. Give him a ring for advice about wire gauge etc.

I bought mine directly from Fyrlyt and installed them myself. It really is not difficult. [wink11]

Hi Greg

I've recently noticed your positive feedback after another customer mentioned there was favourable comments about us on this site. All of us here at Osborne Park Autospark appreciates it.

I thought I'd post up some photo's of a Fyrlyt install we carried out a while ago using our 5mm laser cut stainless bracket. We have revised this bracket since this photo and the mount now is a direct fit for all the new Lightforce 3 bolt mount.

Thanks again Greg

Looks like neat work Tim. I'm still tossing up whether to get a bar and put lights on that, or just get lights with your brackets, or nothing at all. Decisions, decisions.

Tim,

Can similar brackets be mounted onto a RR Sport (2016 L494 model)? Where do you recommend the 24v converters be mounted for the Nemesis 9000s?

Thanks

Hi Cameron

We as yet have not had many requests for a light bracket for the current Range Rover Sport.

I do have a 2014 L494 RRS here today for accessory fit out which I've removed the grille for photo's for you.

I'm sure a bracket could be made utilizing the four screw mountings in the front bumper, the outer two screw mounts are especially solid.

The converter could be mounted either in the engine bay behind the RH strut tower or a better place would be inside the plenum chamber below the brake fluid reservoir.

Keep the converters up the front if you can - in air flow for optimum performance.

Thanks for that Tim. Might pay you a visit when I am ready to install a set and get you to do it. Did it myself on my wife's Ford Ranger. Spent more time making up a bracket and installing and wiring up the circuit breakers, relays and converters than the rest of the install. Was very tight for space too. Not keen to repeat the experience. Great lights however.
