Does the 2.7 td v6 have a dpf?

The manual is not too specific here. There is a big rrrse muffler looking thing under the rear passenger seats when i was looking at something else.
The manual makes no mention of it. It is a 2006 model

I have a 3 litre 2011 Sport now and it doesn't have a DPF.
I think that this was one of the last years without one and one of the reasons that I bought it.
Prior to this I had a 2006 LR3 2.7 litre and it definitely didn't have one either.
They were fitted earlier to those on sale in the Euro markets than on those sent to Australia.

I have an early 3.0l - DPF fitted .
Apparently the first batch built in 5/2009-9/2009 were DPF'd then after were not . Mine is a 2010 MY , built 2009 . If you have a nanocom it will tell you on vin decode whether fitted or not as a double check .

I have a pdf in my ipad which was from the launch , it has the dates / info on it .

To be honest the dpf has not given any inkling of being troublesome - but a short trip for me is 60km @ 100 km/hr .
Economy is fine for a big girl ( 2700kg with driver n fuel )

Have a d5 volvo which also has a DPF , no probs with it either .
