Hi all. I have to make up a short piece of copper pipe for my coffee machine. I have the new pipe and a basic flare kit and MAP flame gun. I was going to desolder the fitting and have a crack at brazing it onto the new pipe then use fine sand and heat to bend up the new pipe. However I just noticed that the fitting has the pipe running right through and a nice beveled edge on it that meets the angle of the fitting (water flow brew pipe on a 2 group commercial machine).
I haven't got the tool for producing the angled edge.
Can anyone let me know what I would need to get that edge? Also any recommendation on a flux coated silver solder stick that is pottable water safe for the brazing? Alternatively I could get a plumber to do it so any recommendations greatly received.
