Dash lights

Hi all can anyone tell me where I can buy dash globes I have tried most auto electrical places around town and all the auto shops with no luck I know the globes are 3 watts but can't even get them not sure what diameter the globe base is any help would be great thanks.

Hey Laney,
Are you after the instrument cluster globes? That light the tach speedo etc.

you can get from your LR dealer, they are not expensive.

They are T10 globes, Repco have them I've got 5 watt ones. You need to swap over the green rubber thing and the base.

I've just bought some of those bulbs for my camper trailer. Super cheap definitely have them. They're with all the other bulbs but a little hard to find. They're about $5 by memory.

Thanks all the globes I'm after are the ones that are in the climate control unit my local land rover dealer is next to hopeless as they told me I don't have a climate control in my disco 2 when I took it in they said that no out of a disco 2.:bat:

These still look to be the same type of globe as the instrument pack ie: t10 and t7 or t5

SCA bulbs, buy a few extras, I tried them and they don't seem to last as long as the branded ones. Constantly replaced my rear bumper globe on D2 parker bulb, on Heather's old Falcon, rear tail lights. Switched to phillips and never had the problem again.

Thanks all I am going to try some green leds and see if they work.

LEDs work but you'll have to see on the board which is the positive and fit the LED in the holder as to be well polarised unless you get non-polarised ones
