Gday All,
Has anyone replaced a rear 1/4 panel ?? If so is it a job that requires any special tools ?
Any info would be great.
Thanks and cheers Ean

No special tools are required. I used a sharp knife and paint scraper to cut away the sealant under the gutter. Screwdriver to remove interim boot trim, socket set to unbolt the panel from inside the boot. A drill Wass required to drill out a rivet at the bottom of the 1/4 panel near the mudflap bracket.
You do need a sealant for the top of the panel (I used Sika 310ml Sikaflex-227 White Auto And Construction Sealant (https://www.bunnings.com.au/sika-310ml-sikaflex-227-white-auto-and-construction-sealant_p1210367) ) plus sealant tape between the new 1/4 panel and the body frame (I used Consolidated Alloys Butyl 48mm 15m Double Sided Tape 10266 (https://www.bunnings.com.au/consolidated-alloys-butyl-48mm-15m-double-sided-tape-10266_p1090837) )
Then you'll need to paint the new sealant under the gutter.
