Why isnt this ever in the snorkel disccusion

I am wondering why in the discussion between Safari and Mantec snorkels (Plastic) that the mantec 3 piece never gets put into the equation

is it Aesthetics, Function, Cost or just the unknow?????[bighmmm]

The Mantec even the stainless version is simply "Bog Ugly" and requires for more work to install over the "Safari" style units.
At least you don't have to remove the entire fender to install a Safari snorkel.

Whoops came across as a statement meant to say even those the looks arnt easy on the eyes and the installs not straight forward is it a good product? Is it better or worse then safari? Because I don't have any so was just curious. Hope that makes more sense...

The 3 piece job is the most restrictive, performance reducing unit of the lot.
The Safari has the best flow.

If you tune up you'll restrict even more..

Not an issue, I was just wondering if the non Safari performed better, as I would consider changing if it were a marked benifit.
