Airbag Fault on MSG centre & no horn

Hi,
Have Airbag Fault showing on message centre and now noticed no horn. Quick check of relays shows all OK. Is there a possible link between the two faults which might help me find the culprit?
Also, can the msg centre fault be cleared with Nanocom Evo or will it just vanish when, and if, I fix it?

The airbag fault is probably just a connection needs re-seating.
Disconnect the battery and have a look under the drivers seat for a yellow connector, undo it and reconnect it a couple of times. (That one may only be present for post 1999 models with the seat airbags)
There is also one under the drivers foot well panel, same thing, just undo and reconnect a couple of times.
Reconnect the battery and check the fault centre, that works for me!
The fault should go away without need for fault clearing.

I'm guessing the horn may just be the connections on the steering wheel, one side of mine works, the other does not.
Maybe try pushing the horn several times and see if you can get anything to happen.

Could be the "clock spring" i.e. rotary coupler that lives between thee top of the column and the steering wheel. I diagnosed a stuffed one on a D1 last month, apparently a common failure.

+1 for clock spring.

Airbag fault and horn not working would be pretty coincidental if it was anything else.

Hasn't happened on my rangey but have had the same symptoms on other cars with it being clock spring.

Do your cruise control buttons work?

Should add "and wait 20 minutes"

Why not see if the horn works by hotwiring it. Then you will know its somewhere else if it works, and it will point to the clock spring.

OK, so the problem was common to both airbags and horn (sort of). Fusebox.
No continuity between relay 9 output and horn feeds was due to dry joints between the fuse box PCB's.
Found a few more, and when resoldered, the airbag msg disappears. Who knows what else might start working now.
Any aftermarket versions of this fusebox or do we soldier-on and keep these going somehow?

I also have a '95 HSE with an SRS warning, I was under the impression that the fault needs to be cleared by computer. This is great news! I was about to look for someone close enough to assist.
I know it happened when I took the seat out to get to the ECU and pulled on the yellow wire accidently.
I'll fiddle with it in the morning...

Fiddle/fix it, then disconnect and reconnect battery. No Nanocom airbag reset option I can see.

There is an option to reset SRS faults on the Nanocom Evo, not sure about older Nanocom.
