been a big day, I was up coding a job till late last night and this morning came way too quickly...

as you can see from the above pic, I desperately needed something to sit my second monitor on, as I was currently using my inkjet printer...

My wife desperately wanted rid of my stereo system attached to the tv / entertainment area..

friggen dilemma of immense magnitude thats been a bone of contention for weeks...

we decided to go shopping at north lakes today and we dropped into Myer to look at cushions for the new lounge which just by chance are on the same floor as and next to the electrical department...

as usual I made leave of the cushions and started to peruse the delicasises available

first thing I spot is a few soundbars on special..

[insert sound of penny dropping]

sadly we were too late for the extra super special LG 200w soundbar for a really really good price but the sales person of the female persuasion took pity on my wife's terrible dilemma and offered us a BOSE unit at a surprisingly stupid price.

so to cut a long story short, my beloved wife has a BOSE soundbar to make the entertainment centre the picture of beauty that it now is and I have my pioneer driven 1000 RMS watts of stereo holding up my monitor and my antiquated Sony speakers fit ever so nicely under my desk

although they tend to make the paperclips vibrate towards the front and onto the floor....

did I mention the Mac Pro has optical out? [bigwhistle]
