I am keen and starting to look at costs and what I need. I am hoping to teem up with people either before or after to do at least one of the tracks. My bro has said he is keen to go and document the event in photos. He is very into photography and does sell some of his photoes.

We are still on for it. I'm in fravour of West to Innaminka (from Bris) then down the Strzelecki and across to Maree.
Not sure yet about after but thinking up to Birdsville and home via Carnarvan Gorge. Was going to head South and right around the coast to Melbourne but now think that should be another trip.

Its not looking good, not really sure yet. Met up with Stacey's family on new years day and they are having so thing on over that holiday break in Toowoomba. Will most likely be making a 2 week event of it and taking in some of the sites. I have been given permission to go 4wding on the middle weekend, the same weekend as the gathering. So if anyone in QLD who cant go to the Gathering wants to meet up (i am willing to travel and meet up somewhere and leave stacey with her family for the weekend) we can plan something closer to the date. I am dissapointed but gotta keep the ladies happy, i might have an excuse to get down to Vic over the October long weekend now. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ Matt
