I have worked out that the front lower shock absorber bushes in my D2a (Peddars Track Rider Foam Cell) are the same as the leaf spring shackle bushes in a 75 Series Toyota Landcruiser. Only trouble is I only need 2 and they appear to come in sets of 12.
Autobarn number for Nylothan Bushes - SK647
Superpro number is SPF2270
Anyone got a 75 Series lying around they don't need?

Thanks for the 'how to' I did it a little different. I used the vice to press out the cross bar, then used it again to push out the rubber. After that I pushed a socket the whole way through to clear the fine layer of rubber from the inside of the eye, lucky it was a perfect fit to the point it got jammed, just. Cleaned the rubber off the cross bar and fitted these bush lots of lube to help the cross bar in. It sounds simple written like that, but it was a little bit of effort.
I got the bushes from Repco and the part number is 27018 - 75 Series Toyota Landcruiser Spring Bush - Rubber - $3.90 each. It is a tight fit, and yes the cross bar can spin in the hole pretty sure it is not going to make an difference.
Outer - 40mm
Inner - 18mm
Length about 36+6 = 42mm

Yes I did. For no other reason than they were available. I didn't really care what they were made of as long as they were the right size.
