It's been an eternity since Hayley and I have had the chance to just go for a quiet drive to fill in a Sunday afternoon. We grabbed the chance this afternoon and drove up Mt Canobolas despite approaching storms. Wow was it worth while! The inclement weather just added to the fantastic atmosphere that can only be experienced by driving through the foggy pine forests in the rain. What a brilliant half day out!

G'day Don,

After the storms blew over the temp dropped dramatically although it thankfully stayed in the positive single digits. It was the first relatively cold day we have felt this year. It's certainly the first day that we have had the heater on in the ute.

We had a great afternoon.
