watermarks on pics

Not heavily into the photography scene but take a few pics of work related stuff. As I provide some of these shots to customers, I am keen to be able to (subtly) identify them as mine.

So my question is, can this be done simply without flash (sorry, only camera pun I can come up with [biggrin]) pic processing software ?.

I use Lightroom, but it's not free,

im sure there must be free software you can use, but maybe a bit ad heavy!

Does your work have stickers or other branding that you put in frame when you take the photos? Saves worrying about it later.
