I love new tools.
Just bought this to add to my tool collection. I've had a cheaper one for a number of years but am sick of adjusting it everytime I change the bevel angle. This is supposed to be the ducks guts of mitre saws.

Have had one of these for years as a builder, still going strong.
Just a pain putting it in and out of the ute. You get sick of the weight of it. Now just use a smaller drop saw for most work
Will last a lifetime though.

Mine will be used for amateur woodworking/furniture making. I'm just a sucker for good tools.
I also have an old (20+ years) Makita drop saw which is also still going strong and more accurate than the other slide saw.

Yep totally agree
Especially in the trade, good tools last, its worth paying the bit extrs for quality.
