Hi guys
Had this strange rattle under the Disco,I felt the CDL lever I made and it was loose and spinning around without doing anything
A look underneath revealed one of the uni joints fell apart 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O
It was a cheapi I got from Cash Converters for $2.It only had roll pins in the joints and they have come adrift.
Hoping to pull it out to fix after work 2 morrow, will take some pics for those looking to make one themselves.

Some useful info on this website too, with regards to making your own CDL linkage. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Hi Guys
As promised, pics of the CDL acuator.
There is the failed uni-joint,the repaired uni and the lever inside the cab.
For those who are making their own,I used Disco2.com,as suggested by Caveman. There are no measurements on the site, and the hand drawn sketch is way out of scale. The lengths between the unis isnt important, you just need 2 to get the correct movement at the handle. The overall length of mine is 40cm.

Nice work Andy.....That looks great.
You're right about the sketch....it is a bit vague....looks like it was drawn on a napkin over lunch.
