mirror tilt

G'day Folks,
My mirror has stopped tilting on the Passenger side when in reverse,I didn't like it till it stopped working,
and now i would like it back,I have read some info on the memory on the seat with ignition on,but i have tried that and not sure whats next,mirror works fine when wanting to move it manually.can't see any fuses out,I have a 2005 l322 hse td6,Can anybody shed a lil light on the problem?if possible.

Check where you have the switch set - The mirror selector switch must be to the drivers side to have the passanger mirror dip in reverse. Counter intuitive...

Sometimes my nearside mirror doesnt go down when reversing, other times it does. Then sometimes it will go down but not come back to the original position.

I had the same issue and the fault came up as "Vertical Potentiometer Faulty".
This means you need to fit a new mirror motor.
That cost me around $140 but be careful of mirror glass as a breakage will cost serious dollars
