In uk not many landrovers are petrol, probably because it costs £70 to fill the tank( approx $160 au.) how much is diesel per ltr in WA ?
how much is insurance/tax ? for a discovery 1 200tdi

There are plenty of v8 discos about, and the majority of discos for sale are V8's because teh diesel owners seem to hang on to theirs. There are quite a few about.
As for priced, diesel is just a little more expensive than diesel at the moment. 5 + cents a litre more approximateley. I think it was about $1.20 the other day. I tend not to pay too much attention because I don't have an oiler myself.

G'day Kie4,
Happy New Year to you as well.
Phoenix was right as there are quite a few diesels around but from what I've seen not many for sale in relation to the V8's.
I live in NSW and diesel fuel is more expensive than petrol sometimes up to 10c a litre more, I think at my last fill I paid $1.24.9c per litre (Sydney) but it was up to $1.34 in the Snowy Mountains(NSW). I don't know what the price is in WA.
My insurance is $780.00 (Aud) per year, full comprehensive for $34,300 cover and my registration total was $640.00 (Aud)
I have a TD5 auto, love it and will keep it for many years.
Cheers,
JackH
