Why worry about your light bar sitting on your bullbar obstructing you view and getting pinged by the cops.
When you get this.[bighmmm]

Phew! could not see any holes cut in the bonnet to see through, or any head hanging out of the window. Perhaps it has all that new lane changing, safe distance etc technology?

Must have that new Land Rover 'see through the bonnet' technology.

Had the same thing happen whilst test driving an XC ute once, looked under the bonnet and didnt clip it shut properly. Resulted in the purchase of said ute and fitment of a bonnet without vents..
Was a bloody scary experience at 80KM/H to have all forward vision taken away in an instant.

When the P76 was new they had a habit of the bonnet poping open & safty catch didn't always work either , because the bonnet opened from the back forward &the natural thing to do when the bonnet poped up was to put your foot on the brake this would launch the bonnet fully open . When the bonnet was opeb it was 8ft to the top & there was no way to see around them, just had to hope you didn't hit anything. Had one open on me after that we would check all bonnet catches & lube the pivot on thr safty catch. Also had the bonnet lift on my 80" when I forgot to hook up the latches . Lucky S1's don't go fast & only lifted about 100mm .[wink11]

Had this happen to us on our Datsun 1600 many years ago. Bloody frightening but luckily I was able to slowly drop speed and pull over and shut the bonnet. No real damage either so very lucky.

With a bullbar and a lightbar fitted on top of it this wouldn't have been a problem [bigwhistle]

My worst effort was closing the drivers door and trapping my shoe lace in it. Foot was ok on the accelerator pedal but I couldn't get my foot onto the brake pedal. Causes a few anxious moments as I threw the gearbox into neutral and braked left foot. Phew!!!

I knew it. That's why Aussies wear thongs everywhere...... they can't tie shoe laces. An old one I know but I couldn't resist it. [bigsmile]
