Engine Codes for TDV6 and SDV6

In 2015 I purchased a 3.0l new MY15 TDV6 badged Discovery. A few months ago the engine had to be replaced by LRA (at 26,000km). This week I purchased a Gap-Diagnostic IID tool which describes the engine as an SDV6. Does anyone have an idea as to whether this is loose use of the term or do I in fact now have the higher specked SDV6?
Surely there must be some other code system for determining the actual specification of the engine.

Mine is a 2010 3.0 TDV6 that shows up under IDDTool as the SDV6. Someone has clarified the meaning of the SD versus TD meaning previously that I'm sure will comment.

Only difference in AU is the tune and power level...

Same with mine. Td but shows Sd.

The GAP tool designates all 3.0 bi-turbo diesel engines as SDV6 as they are the same hardware, just a different tune
