Came across this. It explains all of those funny letters and numbers on your oil bottle, in plain English. Great stuff...

Straight to TGO chaps.
This is an area of common confusion for many of us.

yeah , it's good spudfan.

theres been heaps of similar threads over the years.

I wonder how much the specs change.

I know for a fact our mobile mech , who we've known for about 20 years only uses Delo RPM for all his diesel customers....has for his entire career as a mechanic.

If a pedantic customer wants a particular different oil he buys it in singly and charges appropriately.

btw in servicing tens of thousands of vehicles he has never had an oil issue.

apparently, tests and surveys between virgin and ordinary olive oils show no difference in health benefits , only at the wallet.

drink whichever one you like EEvo.

last night I was eating olive bread and pouring cheap olive oil on it (I was at a bbq) and I still feel goodo this morning[smilebigeye][smilebigeye][smilebigeye]

..... but whatever you do EEvo , dont put it in your diesel engine.

Unless of course it's a Series diesel engine which will happily run on it, or a Tdi with some 2 stroke oil added!
