Hello wise forum.

I'd like to install LED bulbs into my Puma's parker lights and use them as DRL lights.
My question is how hard would it be to wire my Puma's parker lights to come on with ignition?

What say you?

I say no!

Parkers are limited and won't project hard enough to serve as DRL..

But will end up too bright for night time..

If you get what I'm saying

I did something similar on a Mini years ago, due to a dickie switch.
I took a feed from the coil to a relay, feeding the parking light circuit.
You could do the same, sourcing the feed from the fuel pump or any constant fed with the ignition on.
You will have to split the front and rear parkers, unless you're happy to for them all to be permanently on.

A DRL won't be suitable as a Parker so that will make your vehicle non-compliant.
Then When wanting to use parkers it will be too bright.
They won't project well enough to be visible.

Why not, if you don't want proper DRLs, just fit a Lights On Circuit and run your headlights?

Also, legally DRLs aren't allowed on with headlights...
