I now have a an Ingersoll-Rand compressor with airlines and a lot of useful tools fairly recently obtained from an older fellow neighbour- ex mine engineer.
The entire setup has these bloody airline connectors. Thing is, they are nice. No leaking, good coupling.
I now want more of them but can't for the life of me find what they actually are...
Pics (sorry for potato quality) have a Nitto type connector included for reference purposes.
Can anyone here help with identification?

Cheers steu

Possibly a hydraulic connector.

Lincoln L style coupling - looks about right ? Lincoln Industrial > Products > Airline Accessories > Air couplers and nipples > Lincoln-Style (http://www.mommalincoln.com/products/airlineaccessories/aircouplersandnipples/lincoln-style.aspx)

5 Lincoln Quick Coupler Air Hose Connector Fittings 1/4 NPT Tools Plug L STYLE | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Lincoln-Quick-Coupler-Air-Hose-Connector-Fittings-1-4-NPT-Tools-Plug-L-STYLE-/262218072154?hash=item3d0d6a405a:g:FPoAAOSwB4NWurk A)

Looks like 1/4 NPT thread too.

from the blurb,,
it runs to 300psi, which is a lot!

just wondering if thats the reason for the long end?
I'm thinking the long end supports the hose, stops it bending and working the clamp?
