Hello all.
Ive got a 2000 D2. Its racked up a few k's now and i bought it to get me out of trouble so its got a couple of issues.. I use it for work and play and I'm thinking of taking up the governments very generous tax concession and upgrading to a D3. Now i would like another Diesel and k's dont scare me so mid 200's to very low 300's. I dont have lots of money thanks to my now ex wife, so I am wondering what goes wrong with them. I'm looking for a diesel D3 SE and above. Ideally its already got a winch bar and dual battery, but thats not a deal breaker, I'm very handy.
I had a D3 petrol, so I know about the front end bushes. I get the transmission troubles (look for a steel pan). What else do I look for. I got told the other day that they have turbo and engine issues. I havent seen much posting about that so is that an issue. What else am I missing before I jump.
Thanks in advance, I dont log on every night so forgive me if i dont answer straight away. Oh, and I'm in Melbourne if that means anything.
Cheers
