Shouldn't the headline be "Vic Police find new revenue stream!" 😇 [bigrolf]

Personally, with the amount of ******* we've come across in the bush, I think its great,, couldn't care less if they make an absolute packet out of it. Maybe it'll help them get more bikes out there to travel the traffic and deal with mobile phone users as well.

My opinion it is not about revenue it is more of reducing accidents and as my friend chops says yes i have on many occasion come close to near fatal`s in the bush :bat:
So i am of the same believe reduce the idiots by tax not accidents .
And don`t forget someone has to clean up the mess up afterwards one of theses tools come unstuck and this out weighs any fine[wink11]

Nothing 'new' about it either, at least not in SA...they have always been 'road related areas' and open to being policed as per a road.

It was meant as a tongue-in-cheek response. Sadly, Vic doesn't have a monopoly on ******* in the bush! As usual, though, it's the dickhead minority that makes the headlines, and the silent majority who embrace the Tread Lightly concept, get targeted by the media, and consequently, the enforcement agencies. Perhaps we, as a collective group of enthusiasts need to start exploring some sort of media campaign to sheet the problem home to where it belongs - on the heads of that minority.

Anyway, that's my vent for the day - happy Mothers Day to all whom are applicable, and commiserations to the husbands who forgot it!!!

Nearly come a cropper a few times on narrow tracks where spankers come speeding from the opposite direction and we come face to face on blind corners. They seem to be unaware the other people could also be on the same track, The Vic high country, the Acheron way is another, nearly came a cropper on Brinabella in NSW, interestingly every incidence with me the other driver was a hilux ute driver, go figure, never seemed to have a bother with any other make or model. They might have a different mind set.
