Both the indicator lenses in the factory bullbar of my extreme wagon (2003) were broken when I bought it . I have priced from landrover $32 each, does anybody know if I can get them elsewhere cheaper.
Tried a few places but they refer me back to genuine.

Are these indicators just indicators or are they a sidelight + indicator ?
I have a spare at home of the side light + indicator version I can get the brand off (it isn't LR & it's in an orange box with a HYM.... part number).
I thought LR fitted these bars locally, have you tried ARB ?

They are fitted in the lower front of either side of the bullbar.
No they are not local, the manufacturer is a company called Rinder (spanish) They are orange and white single piece.

The part# is HYM1176 but $32 is around my price anyway.

I had three sets replaced under warranty. LR told me it was expansion from heat transfer from the bullbar. They fracture from the screw outwards. He suggested it will happen time & time again. I ended up putting a small rubber grommet at the base of each screw and tightened till firm. Gives it a minute bit of room for expansion - so far so good (12 months).

Mine have been broken from just about day 1.
They still work, so I haven't bothered replacing them.

i just got me a brainstorm of an idea....
it even hurt..... :!:
why not make the holes bigger and fit driving lights in the holes.....
you already have indicators and park lights on the front....
it will stop the trailer light flashing on the dash every time you indicate.....

That would not be legal as if you have a bullbar like that on the front of your car, you legally need lights IN the bar.
Go back and think again Zooky
