Wow. I worked Nissan parts in another life. Friday arvo was our busiest time. Particularly with the panel trade getting orders in for the next weeks jobs.

Why get your self all worked up over this, relax, sit down , have a cold beer and ring Chop's mobile mechanical services and get it done. [bigwhistle][bigrolf][bigrolf][bigrolf]

I bet even if they were open they wouldn't have one.[bigsad]

Unless they were an old dealership, the bloke was old school, and the Toyota was an FJ40.

The most important information is missing though, was the Repco plug 28mm and did it fit?

It was 28mm and it did fit[wink11]
I was more concerned if Tojo used something unique either half a mm or something like that.
So the reason going to the Yota dealer was to find out what size it should have been i did measure it but was concerned with the removal process it was out of shape so i could not get a exact measurement [bighmmm]

We needed a diff for one of our late model Tojo work vans.
To minimise down time,i ordered a new diff, there was only two in the country at the time.

So, if two more cars needed that same diff then there would have been a VOR generated which usually lights a fire under someone if the vehicle is late model.

(VOR = Vehicle Off Road. Nissan used to do a scalded cat routine when that happened. I imagine Toyota would be the same. They DON'T do it for accident damage)
