HI all,
i have been restoring a 1962 land rover series 2a,
i am getting a bit confused as i had a look at my wheel rims (as i am going to sand blast them) and i found i have got 5 rims and all but two have different part numbers, the part numbers are
NRC7578
AYG3038 (have two of these) am i right these are Australian military rims??
272309
231601
anyone know what off sets these have and which ones are best to use, so i can get a set of them together (i have a friend with stacks of wheels lying around)

Thanks!!

Cheers Amos

231601 is the standard 5" rim wheel for 88 Series 2a
272309 is the standard 5.5" 1.75" offset rim wheel standard on 109, optional on 88
NRC 7578 is the 5.5" rim wheel standard on home market Series 3 109 and on 110 and steel wheel Defenders
AYG 3038 is the standard 5.5" rim ROH made wheel fitted to later Australian built Series 3. It has a raised circle round the stud holes and really needs longer than standard studs when fitted to Series 2a hubs before suffix H.

Somewhere in this forum, possibly in "The Good Oil", is a comprehensive listing of wheel offsets for the ones I don't have to hand.
