Hi everyone, have just joined the discovery 3 family after many fun filled years with the Discovery 2.

I have a 2005 discovery 3 tdv6 HSE about to go in for a Vic RWC but the speedometer isn't working. Everything else on the cluster works except for the speedo and the red brake light in the middle of the speedo. Electric park brake works as per normal, just doesn't illuminate the red warning light. Tacho, temp, fuel, warning lights etc all work fine.

With the trip meter working I assume it is not a wheel sensor? Nanocom brings up no fault codes.

Anyone know who can repair a discovery cluster? Cheers John

Hi John,

Welcome to world of Discovery ownership and to the forum. They are a great car (even if I'm on my bike ATM with mine in for a front diff rebuild) and there is heaps of info on here.

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer, hopefully someone comes along to help you out.

Just went to the disco3 website in the U.K. and found someone asking the exact same question - then realised it was you!! Did it suddenly stop working? How about the tachometer, odometer, trip meter, economy gauge etc? If you have access to a fault code reader that might throw up some clues. I suggest checking any relevant fuses, cable plug connections to the cluster etc.
