Hi guys, I'm looking to buy a diagnostic tool to use on my 2002 L322 TD6.
At the moment I need:
-Read and clear faults
-Read fuel injection performance values
-Program new injector codes

I also wouldn't mind the ability to adjust the ride height and wheel diameter for speedo calibration but I it's not something I absolutely must have. It would also be good to be able to have a display connected while driving to show instant fuel usage and other data that might be handy when on a trip.

Can anyone confirm which tools can perform these tasks on an 02 TD6 rangey?

Cheers :)

The Gap Diagnostics IID tool is a great little unit and will do most of what you've asked and more. As a side note you don't need to program the injectors on an '02 TD6, you just whack them in and go. :)

Their Bluetooth model lets you see all the data real time on your phone.

Cheers mate, reading around I haven't found any other options and everyone seems to really like the IIDTool. I'll have a gander and see how cheap I can pick one up!

It'll pay for itself the first time you need to reset a hard fault - like a suspension fault - that would normally see you off to the stealers.

I got a Recovery Tool locally for a client (AU$599). Tried it out on my L322 as it is not limited to a particular VIN no. Think it does everything you are looking for. Let me clear errors and adjust suspension as well as provide live engine/gearbox/TC data.
Unit is distributed and supported locally by British Motor Imports (BMI). Doco is very limited from BMI, but unit is sold as Lynx Diagnostic Evo Tool by Britpart in UK (DA1500 | Lynx Evo Diagnostics Tool | Diagnostics | Britpart (https://www.britpart.com/parts/lynx-diagnostics/lynx-evo/da1500/))

Cheers guys, I bought an iidtool bt but am still keeping an eye out for something that might beat it. With the prices coming down so much on the L322's as well no doubt there'll be even more demand for this sort of gear.
