BFG K02 (new) tyre swap - PERTH ONLY

hey guys

I recently bought 265/65/18 K02's for my Compomotive rims. They are the hard to come by 122 load rating tyre. They're an awesome tyre with <500kms on them (one beach run only) where they performed flawlessly and as expected, deflated to 16PSI.

I had them on my D4V8

As i'm now contemplating a 2011-2012 RRS, I regret not getting the 60-series tyres as apparently on a RRS the 65-series will rub.

so ....

If anyone in Perth is about to buy the 265/65 K02's, please give me a shout. If you buy the 60-series instead, I propose we swap tyres (plus a couple of cases of Corona) and i'll pay for the any difference in labour.

I've just ordered 18 inch rims and looking at these tyres. I'm not in Perth so can't swap, unless you want to send to Queensland . But would like you to confirm they don't rub on a D4 as according to Johnson their rods are needed for 265/65/18inch tyres.

on my D4 they only barely touch when going in reverse, at standard height (or less), on full right lock. yes, I know that's weird..

On a RRS they rub more apparently, unless you do a little surgery on the wheel-well liner (which i'm not too keen to do)

they are awesome tho on the 65 profile, with the extra bit of sidewall.

I have a proposal
1. Do you have a set of 5 grey rims with AT KO2's ?
2. If so would you consider sending to me and you take delivery of the rims I have on order.(and paid for)
3. What sort of money would you want?

Hi Bob - I reckon this will be cost-prohibitive from a shipping perspective mate. The rims alone were $300 to ship from Canberra to Perth. Rims + Tyres (given the extra size and weight) would be likely be at least double that I'd think. I'll PM you details.

The 122S rated tyres are $325.00 each fitted here in SE Queensland.
