Hi Guys, reading about LPG in diesel by injection LP in the air intake just before it go into the turbo and by doing this you get a cleaner burn ,more power and 25% less fuel usage , and I'm saying "cool" ,but this is for trucks or big diesels , is such a thing happen for every day 4x4's , just there was results from a oversea report of 2 years and it looks good for diesel engines. (last friday 13 Car Mag in The Sun in melboune).

Buy the current issue of Australian 4WD Monthly (Jan 2006). Mark Ellam has had his Troopy converted by DieselGas Technologies here in Penrith. See their website at http://www.dieselgas.com.au/

I've driven some of their converted vehicles and they do go very well.

There have been a couple of threads on this over the past few months.

There are a mob in Western Sydney who do it, about $3300.

I think 10% lpg to diesel sounds like the safe option, so keep that in mind when you're dreaming of the savings you'll make rather than the three grand you could have spent on diesel.

Other advantage is that the tank can be tiny and the whole rig can be shifted out of one car to another.

Sounds good for a bit more poke, but why complicate an otherwise fairly simple process by adding another fuel setup ? Diesels already get great mileage, if you need more power add a turbo or upgrade the turbo and intercooler. The beauty of diesel is you dont need 2 different fuel supplies to get cheap running costs( like a dual fuel petrol vehicle).
