2004 HSE reverse sensor playing up

About a month ago , the reverse sensor system started playing up
It emitted a continuous beep so I just left it off
About 2 weeks ago , I accidentally pushed the switch in and it ran just fine for a week
Now its doing the continuous beep thing
Anyone have a quick fix or history on why it would do that?

I did read online that I should unplug them and clean out all the connections

Ill try that then and if that doesn't work , unplug one at a time and see if I can narrow it down

also try ign on and in reverse test each sensor separately by listening for a clicking noise as you move in front of it.

wow,, you can turn them off??
not sure why you'd want too,, although the van hitch does make it go off,,
