Looks like the implementation has been delayed until 1st July 2018.
Still have a year to import parts without GST !!

Bit of a celebration on my part too here.
been stressing over getting a pair of ATBs from Ashcrofts for a while, but not being an urgent matter .. other matters have been prioritised over the pair of ATBs.
But I've just been musing over their site again due to a link made in the traction control/diff lock thread, and worked out that I'm about $130 better off placing two single diff orders and keeping each under the $1K mark, than to place an order for two at over the $1K mark.
The freight costs are such that it justifies the mucking about to save $100 on GST.
It's a stupid system, in that it doesn't make sense ... not for us end users. For our purposes, it makes sense to use the loopholes.
Gives us a bit of breathing room now tho.

Ashcroft can adjust the invoice so it is under $1000 for you, you just have to ask, they know the deal
