I have decided that it is time to get a dash cam.
Having a look on ebay, I can pay anywhere from $15 to $200.

Any advice on what to get? It is to be used in a truck

The less I have to spend the better, but I do not want to buy junk.

Probably a bit more than your desired spend, but this is what I'd look at:

It is a bit above my spend, but if someone convinced me why it is worth it I might have considered it,
but it appears that it does not have a monitor, which is something I would prefer.

Dave i have a Blackvue in my truck but i didn`t pay for it [wink11]
You can wifi it to your phone for a screen it has GPS for speed and location recording which can be helpful if needed.
Mainly with the wifi bit to your Ph that means no need to remove the camera or sd card for downloading footage[thumbsupbig]
Would i buy one maybe but dont wipe them off they are a good bit of kit[biggrin]

that's the one i am using. Discreet hides next to mirror, not ugly like the other that hang down. If some one bumps your car it can auto record.
