A few years ago, when I was about to buy my L322, my mate Tidy (named in his youth because he got a bit untidy with a few beers under his belt) said "I couldn't buy a Vogue (he owned an RRS at the time) I'm not old enough to be seen in a Vogue." He bought a Sahara.
We're currently in Broome, at a caravan park. I sent him this picture. "Have you seen the kind of people who drive Saharas?"

What all parked next to one another? nothing new Land Rover drivers did the same.
Probably a group of grey nomads. They want to get away from it all yet they live in one anothers pockets. Just another mobile retirement village. The bull bars on them are probably dual purpose, they can be removed and used as walking frames. :wheelchair: *( i'm cruel aren't I)
The only difference though between old people and younger people is the older people got there first.

I don't understand the context of the thread.
My best friends drive LC200s.
End of the August I'll be in William Ck .....LC200s will be everywhere , owned and driven by some great blokes and some great Australian characters.
I doubt if I'll even see a Land Rover there.
See....it's all about choice , not opinion.
