I have been lucky enough to be given my dads first landy which some mates of his started a rebuild on in his memory. I'm off work and have had a pretty rough time of late I'm moving to Bonnie Doon to the family home. Big red s she is lovingly known will follow in a couple of weeks when I get my act and the trailer together to go get her. I plan a ground up restoration using as many original parts as possible. Engine and gearbox rebuild and a re spray in her original glorious Masai red here are some pics s she is - the boys have straightened her chassis by laser so she is probably one of the straightest 2a chassis out there! https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2017/07/481.jpghttps://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2017/07/482.jpghttps://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2017/07/483.jpghttps://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2017/07/484.jpghttps://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2017/07/485.jpghttps://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2017/07/486.jpghttps://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2017/07/487.jpghttps://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2017/07/488.jpg

I remember this Land Rover. I grew up in Osbornes Flat, Allans Flat & Yackandandah and spent many days talking with your father about Land Rovers, or with the SES/CFA and collecting wood.
Fond memories. I also lent his workshop manual many a time and have photocopy. Do you still have the Bamford PTO winch and the radios from it?
