I suppose if you had to cut a few dozen, but a bit of string dipped in kero is much easier and quicker.

It may also be useful for cutting polly pipe, I can never get a nice square cut with a saw [bigwhistle]
Thankfully my crappy cuts are well hidden when I glue on the fittings [biggrin]
