Hi All
Had this sent to me this morning from a Holden nut that know's I'm a Green Oval nut. A few nice Series vehicle there
and what looks like a 2b towing a boat trailer between the S2 and what could be a Studerbaker. Thought you might like it.
Regards Ian

No, it's not a 2b FC. It looks too small. Maybe something like a Commer?

And, it does not have a divided windscreen.

Could be an early Ford style-side, Ford (?) Thames, Jeep made one that looked very similar too.

And, whilst truck/ute spotting,,, I found this for you Mick [thumbsupbig]

The Land Rover Transporter was a 1950 Leyland Beaver. I have a model of it in my model LR collection. It also has the trailer as well & is loaded with S1's

Me thinks my friend has nothing better to do than look for old pics, but Land Rovers and Trains in the same pic are cool

I'm pretty sure a lot of those are jet boats, so my guess it was probably taken in NZ, most likely South Island.

Great pic. I wonder if he can date it at all (?).

Not many any on the line there, I wonder if it's just a special or specific part of the factory where there are only a few at a time, or maybe near the start of production.

I doubt he could, he's a Holden nut and only sends me stuff when he's bored at work or looking for business from me, as it seems as soon as he sends me a picture, I need to order stuff from him. Here's a couple more. I just sent him an order [smilebigeye]

That picture is in John Smith's book, and is titled "Production Line 1948".
