Hi mates!
On behalf of a friend of mine a tricky question:
The fuel pressure regulator on a Td5 engine (the device is located very awkwardly on the back of the engine block) is leaking. According to the manual it is secured in position by a circlip and where it mounts to the housing there should be some O-rings or gaskets.
Now, does anyone of you have an idea about the type and size of these rings and if they are standard size before we try to remove the whole thing just to find out we have to get hold of special replacement parts???

Suggestions welcome!
Cheers

is this on an early TD5 the whole housing is changed and completely
different from the old one apparently the gasket leaks as well.

a new regulator will cost around $300 (not from main stealer) the fuel lines are easy to disconnect as they are quick release the three bolts are a bit of a pain to get to,make sure it is very clean around the regulator
before removing it.

you do not want to get any dirt in the fuel system allow around 1 hour for the job.

I agree with the other reply post. You can't buy the regulator. You have to buy the whol fuel block into which the regulator sits.

The regulator its self is not to difficult to remove from the fuel block once you have the block off

I tried to purchase just the regulator, but no luck.
