G'day all first post, long time reader.
Today the mechanic left my remote on the wiper blade and I drove off, wipers sensed rain and spat the remote on to the freeway.
Found the pieces of the remote but no longer works.
Where can I source a new FOB complete with internals and key?
Cheers

CheersI think the challenge is getting the new fob talking to the car. Need a nanocom or similar to DIY

eBay is good to buy a fob then take key and car to a dealer you're friends with. Mine did it free of charge but others on here have been charged.

Oh and you need a new blank key cut to suit your VIN

I would think that your mechanic should be sourcing a new key for you because of his/her negligence.

Try Lorbek Cars in Port Melbourne .

They use Rob Kristafi 0414 339 682 - he has done keys for my RRS .

Worked like a charm !

You will need a blank ordered then coded to vehicle - i have a nanocom which apparently can do it ....

I am a Puss tho and are not game to attempt on mine or anyone elses ! !

Thanks all for your input.
The Mechanic wasn't too interested in helping out but I think I will push him bit harder yet.
At around $250 for replacement I'm thinking he should be putting his hand in his pocket.

Will chase up the suggestions.

Cheers
