I got no issues with with....paying 18%to be the only male amongst a bunch of chics might be a good thing for some blokes.

Re: anti-discrimination, there are women only gyms, men only clubs, gender specific night clubs.......****ed if I know why this bothers people, if you cannot find other venues for entertainment or exercise than you ain't liking hard enough. These gender specific venues are generally found in capital cities where the market is flooded

Sometimes I feel it easy for people to throw the discrimination flag in the air just like sueing in the states

In what area of business or industry does an 18% gap exist? All the places I have ever worked, people get paid the same rate regardless of gender.

The gender 'pay gap' has been repeatedly debunked since the late 1960's and yet it still re-surfaces on a regular basis. Somehow I doubt I would frequent an establishment where the owners are perpetuating this myth due to being either complete morons, or just disingenuous with the truth.

When I was in Tokyo they had train carriages that said women only, I had to admit they are pretty old carriages and I was more than happy to use the mixed sex modern carriages

The first time I ever saw a gender specific carriage was in Egypt when I was there in 1995. Mind you I could sort of understand it as I was traveling with my then girlfriend who had long blonde hair, very attractive, with a stunning figure. I remember nicknaming the Egyptians 'Sir Grope-alot'.....
