Well....almost and it ain't a Land Rover 8O

After much searching (this has been going on for a number of years) we have finally found it....

1994 Peugeot 205GTi Classic https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ (to be named 'Ari')

85,000kms, one 'lady' owner and in mint condition (always garaged). It is owned by a mature lady who believes it is now time to move onto something more becoming of her age (whatever that means :? ).

We are heading south to check 'Ari' out and hopefully bring him into the family.

Will post some pics when possible.

Cannot wait....I think I am getting younger, not older!!!

Good stuff.

Always had a soft spot for the sporty Pugs.

Nearly bought myself a 405 Mi-16 a few years ago.

I've got a mate who loved his pugs, that one would be a nice addition to the family https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Nah...behave, I am not that young.

This one is collectable....one of only 30 in the country.

Back off with your angle-grinder! That is what Land Rovers are for!!!

This ain't 'Ari', but another 'Classic'.

There were only 30 brought out to Australia and all in the same colour https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ By the way, it is NOT British Racing Green.....they are French

Thanks Grunt.

We cannot wait to pick him up, we think he will complement the Landy nicely. Similar design principles....very uncompromised. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

After driving a couple of 205s recently, you forget how overweight and 'numb' new cars have become. :?

How do you know it is a male?? Most French cars are female so maybe a nice French girls name would be in order. I put forward one VERY French girls name and that is Fanni (Fanny) https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Yep it is true that is a common French girls name

There have not been too many successful female rally drivers.... :? 8O :?

Anyway the exploits of one Ari Vatanen in the Group B 205s and 405s remain too well imprinted on my brain...he was always going to be an 'Ari'!
