Is anyone able to provide information regarding the quick connect coupling, a sectional drawing, O ring, outer cover?
Disassembled quick connect coupling this afternoon. 'O' rings fitted below spacer, separated by a Nylon washer. Spacer beneath retention clip appears to be ABS (or similar) hard plastic with a concave surface which guides & centralises the cooler line through the 'O' ring, nylon washer & 'O' ring assembly which acts as the sealing mechanism.
Face surfaces of the spacer are pitted. Possibly not refitted correctly after recent engine repairs.
Will attempt to add photographs for clarity; Female end before disassembly; Female end with retention clip & spacer removed; retention clip & spacer.
NB - The 'O' rings appear to be Nitrile, not Viton.
