Maybe but China said they will resume patrolling and continue to Build "'the Road' depending on weather.
I have been near that area (xigaze in Tibet) so I know the weather there will soon be ferocious. I doubt anybody can even survive up there. So India is smart. They effextively stop the construction without firing a single bullet .

But at the end of the day, it's road and it's within the Chinese boarder

Thailand is using Chinese funds to build rail and road links with China. There is a plan for an Asian highway with streamlined border controls to connect from China south all the way to Singapore. China also has a New Silk Road plan to connect to Europe. China is rising.
