hi all,

we have just bought ourselves a gorgeous 2011 FL2, but trying to set up a permanent little Bluetooth dongle to handle the missus horrible taste in music.

plan is to make a neat little box containing the receiver which is a little Logitech unit and all the cabling that can slot between the rear 12v outlet and the aux in plug.

the location is perfect, i can make a unit that covers both outlets and looks great, only problem is that 12v seems to be constant feed even with the key out.

is there any way to make this a switched plug like the one in the front of the console? has anyone done this?

Is there any other wiring or a fuse panel near it or not? I suppose if it's on it's own, you could use a voltage sensing relay and set it so it drops out sometime after the car is stopped but it wouldn't be instaneous when the engine was stopped but it wouldn't run all the time and flatten the battery either.

Run a wire from the front socket to the rear socket?

Hi,
Just wire a relay into the feed to the rear socket, using the front socket feed to switch the relay.
